Baba & Nyonya

Baba & Nyonya also known as "Peranakan". During the reign of the Malacca Sultanate, the Chinese princess Hang Li Poh was given to the Sultan by the Chinese Emperor. Then the mixed culture of Baba Nyonya are created in Malaysia. The term "Baba" refers to men while "Nyonya" refers to women. They have their own unique attire, foods, building structures etc.
