MALACCA HERITAGE EXHIBITION 

Malacca is one of Malaysia's most popular tourist sites. Every evening, travelers from all over the world flock to the famed Jonker Street night market. Malacca was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008. Malacca is well-known for its delicious food, in addition to its numerous magnificent historical buildings. There are restaurants around, and experts declare that Malacca produces the best indigenous delicacies in Malaysia.

Raise the people’s interest and let them understand more about the cultural heritage in Malacca. To let people, have a better understanding about the history of the Malacca and to find out why Malacca is known as History City in Malaysia. Now is the people role to protect the building and the history of the cultural heritage due to it have a lot of meaningful meaning to all of us.

As for Malacca City, we all know that it is the first place of Malaysia there have been build up history in Malaysia. Moreover, it is also influencing lots of things that we do even use after hundreds of years ago. Especially the law of Malacca is being used till now of the modern world. As for this we would know how strong Malacca City was during 1400. History was being told that Parameswara was really a great, wisdom ruler during that time.

The concept of our poster is to showcase the efforts of descendant of Malacca people to pass on their tradition and cultural generation to generation. The colour tone of the poster should be colourful, and nostalgia feel. We will use iconic picture of the Malacca such as Windmill Dutch Square & A' Famosa to design our poster. The moodboard will be new and modern to look fresher to younger generations. 

First, we conducted researches about history of Malacca and selected the three of the iconic symbol of Malacca. Then, we reorganized short information and important visual elements that audience should be focusing on regarding to the three symbols of Malacca. We used Adobe Illustrator to illustrate the poster designs then used Adobe Photoshop & "剪映" to make filter effects. Next, we used Artivive to make it as an augmented reality poster.
